- Benelux industrial designs are protected for up to 25 years from the filing date. The initial registration fee covers the first five years of protection. Renewal fees must be paid every 5 years within the last 6 months of each 5-year protection period.
- If the renewal fee is not paid by the due date, it may still be paid within a 6-month grace period, subject to an additional surcharge of EUR 12.
