- In Armenia, invention patents are valid for 20 years from the filing date (and may be extended up to 25 years in certain cases). Annual maintenance fees become due from the 2nd year of the term and must be paid annually on or before the anniversary of the filing date.
- If a maintenance fee is not paid by the due date, the patent holder may still pay it within a 6-month grace period, subject to a surcharge of 50 % of the applicable fee.

- In Armenia, protection for utility models is provided through short-term patents, which are valid for 10 years from the filing date. Annual maintenance fees are payable each year starting from the 2nd year of validity and may be paid within a 6-month grace period with a 50 % surcharge.

- In Armenia, an industrial-design registration is valid for an initial term of 5 years from the filing date, and may be renewed for additional 5-year terms up to a total of 25 years. Renewal fees are payable every five years, on or before the expiry of the current 5-year term.
- If the renewal fee is not paid by the due date, it may still be paid within a 6-month grace period, subject to a surcharge of 50 % of the applicable renewal fee.
