- Throughout the application process, annuities are not required to be paid. The 1st renewal fee is required to be paid 4 months following the grant date to the State Enterprise Ukrainian Intellectual Property Institute (Ukrpatent).
- For instance, if the grant date is January 20, 2022, payment of the first renewal must be completed by May 20, 2022.
- Once the 1st renewal is settled, subsequent annuities are to be paid annually, with the due date aligned with the anniversary of the filing date. This due date should reflect the same month and day as the original filing date.
- For example, if the filing date was on November 9, payment for all following annuities is due each year on November 9.
- Fees may be paid up to 6 months after the due date. If overdue, payment must be made within 6 months along with an additional fee of 50%.
