- Annuity fees for the 1st to 5th year have to be paid in a lump sum together with the fee for grant/registration within 2 months from the date of the decision to grant/registration.
- The subsequent annuity fees can no longer be paid on a yearly basis but must be paid together in a lump sum for periods of five years, i.e. the subsequent 6th to 10th annuity fees must be paid together in one lump sum, the 11th to 15th annuity fees, etc.
- If overdue, payment must be made within 6 months along with an additional fee of 50%. It will not be permitted to be restored after 6 months grace period.

- Annual payments for maintaining utility models will be replaced by 5-year instalment periods. Annuities for years 1-5 will be included in the grant fee.
